    1111 North Main St was built in 1934 & was the Kingman hospital. Somewhere around 1965 that same building became Kingman girls home & housed teenage girls in state custody. Between 1975 & 1980 The Kingman girls home became Main Place Youth, Inc., a Teen Challenge adolescent girls program for girls 12 to 18 who were privately placed by their parents into a 12 to 18 month faith based program due to multiple different life controlling issues.
